Welcome to Window-ology's first installment of our bi-monthly "Friday Favorites" series!

Twice a month, we will highlight fellow local businesses we love in downtown Pleasanton and the Tri Valley. We hope this serves you well and inspires you to support and shop local.

This edition is all about food. Here are three places we love eating at!.

Blue Agave Club - 625 Main Street, Pleasanton

Cascading bougainvillea covers the cheery blue trellis leading up to the Blue Agave Club and patio, with abundant outdoor seating. We love the unique twist on Mexican dishes.

[1/22/21] Due to COVID and the Alameda County health orders, the restaurant is take-out and online ordering only. Find them on GrubHub, DoorDash, and Uber Eats, too!

The Bagel Café - 927 Main Street, Pleasanton

This is one of our favorite quick lunch spots. (We walk there pretty often, and there are votes from many of us in the office for this little joint.) It's owned and run by two sisters, who, in addition to being friendly and sweet, serve a great food. The bánh mì is one of our personal favorites here. Order online or walk-in. Take-out only with a few tables.

Oyo - 680 Main Street, Pleasanton

South American fare with a jive bar and mean brunch. The office recommends the jerk chicken and plantains with coconut rice.

[1/22/21] Due to COVID, Oyo is doing outdoor patio dining and street dining on weekends. Family-style meals are available for takeout, as well as meats and seafoods you can cook at home.
