Real Homes & Projects: San Ramon Whole House Shutter & Shade Install

Updated: Mar 16, 2021

Today we're featuring a whole-house install for composite shutters and roller shades. All white for clean, simple feel — but elegant! The neutral color added a light and airy feeling to open floor plan of the home, and let in plenty of natural light for all of the plants.

When you order window treatments for your whole house (or 15+), you can generally expect an all-day process with multiple installers. We will start with a home tour of the windows that need covering, followed by staging (putting the window coverings with their corresponding windows), and then install.

We wrap it up with tidying and vacuuming if necessary, and then give you a quick overview of how to properly operate the window treatments.

You can come along on an install in this YouTube video.

A Window-ology installer carries a long brown box containing window shutters out of a large white company van. The installer is wearing a baseball cap and sweatshirt with jeans and a face mask. He is going to put the package down on the plastic table in front of him.
