Real Projects: Plantation Shutters in San Ramon

Shutters, how do we love thee. Composite shutters (also known as plantation shutters), are incredibly durable. Additionally, they are not sensitive to moisture, making them great additions to bathrooms and kitchens, as well as any room that is often used.


We installed these Norman shutters in San Ramon and have to say they slipped right in with the rest of the decor.

Setting: A living room. Plantation shutters are mounted into the tryptic of windows, which feature a window seat. The pattern of the window seat matches those of the two chairs in front of it, one sitting on either side of a round mahogany coffee table. There is a copper globe on top of the table.
