What Is Included In a Limited Lifetime Warranty

Window treatments can be a large investment, and you want the confidence that they'll do their job for a good long while. But, what if something happens that is out of your control? This is where company warranty policies come in.

Window-ology, in addition to manufacturing our own products, is a dealer for many major brands, including Hunter Douglas, Graber Blinds, Norman Window Fashions, Comfortex, and Rollease Acmeda. Each company has a different warranty policy, and we encourage you to ask your designer about the specifics of whatever brand you decide to shop with.

As a dealer for these brands, Window-ology provides labor when we send an installer or designer out to inspect an issue, and again when we go out to repair or replace products.

Window-ology's products are under a one-year warranty from the purchase date. This means that in the one-year time frame, we will send a representative, free of charge, to asses the issue. However, the product cannot have been modified, defaced, nor previously repaired by any party not affiliated with Window-ology.

Most brands we carry, including Hunter Douglas and Graber Blinds (this also pertains to the Costco Window Fashions Program, which we service as Blinds, Shades, Shutters, and More, a subsidiary of Window-ology), offer their customers a limited lifetime warranty on their products.

The warranties will cover manufacturing issues related to product and hardware, and depending on the situation, the company may either repair or replace the product for free. However, it does not always cover labor costs necessary to send our install team out to your home to replace your products.

The Window-ology installation fee is $150 and allows us to pay the installers for their time and work, the gas for their vans, and the overhead and office folks who help take your calls and coordinate with the brands so that you can get a repair or replacement product.
